Skyline Social & Games supports the community organizations, schools, and nonprofits that make Hermantown and Apple Valley stronger. If your event or cause could use a little fun, submit a request and let’s see what’s possible.
WHAT GETS CONSIDERED
DONATION CRITERIA
Skyline Social & Games is built as a welcoming community space, so support is given thoughtfully and intentionally. Not every request can be fulfilled, and support is experience-based (think packages with bowling, food, and arcade cards, great for silent auctions or event prizes) rather than cash donations. Requests are evaluated based on community fit, local reach, and alignment with Skyline’s values.
ANSWERS ABOUT COMMUNITY SUPPORT
How far in advance should a request be submitted?
Plan to submit at least 3-4 weeks before your event. Requests are reviewed on a rolling three-week cycle, so earlier is always better.
How often are requests reviewed?
Every three weeks. Organizations are contacted by email or phone after each review window, whether selected or not.
Will I hear back if my request isn’t selected?
Yes. Every request gets a response.
Can an organization apply more than once or return next year?
Absolutely. Past recipients and first-time applicants are both welcome to apply for future events.
Does location matter?
Yes. Requests from organizations in or near Hermantown, MN, or Apple Valley, MN are prioritized. Bonus points if your event (or a future one) lands at Skyline.
What kinds of sponsorships are available?
Experience-based sponsorships only, such as packages with bowling, food, and arcade cards, which are great for silent auctions or event prizes. No cash donations.
